GeoAI is always on the lookout for new talent. Are you looking for an internship or a thesis project, where you will have your own responsibilities? Then GeoAI is looking for you!
What will you do?
During your internship, you will focus on the automatic recognition of objects within data through a combination of image analysis and point cloud processing. These objects have not yet been represented in 3D, and we aim to integrate them into a 3D CAD model while employing deep learning techniques for automatic detection. You will have the freedom to develop your own algorithm for this purpose, and together we will formulate your internship assignment to ensure it aligns with your interests and capabilities. Additionally, there is flexibility to undertake specific portions of the assignment, and we will determine this in consultation with you.
We are seeking candidates currently undertaking a relevant education at HBO or WO levels, such as IT, Geo-ICT, or data science. While experience with GIS is advantageous, proficiency in Python is essential. Knowledge of deep learning is desirable but not mandatory. First and foremost, we value analytical thinking, curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to further develop your skills.
The internship’s start date and duration will be agreed upon through consultation. Proficiency in English is expected, as you will be working in an international environment.
